Ben Nevis Refill Hogshead - Lady of the Glen 26 Jaar 1998/2025

The Lady of the Glen single cask series from independent bottler Hannah Whisky from Dalgety Bay near Edinburgh has stood for exceptional quality rather than quantity since it was founded in 2012. Founder Gregor Hannah relies on hand-picked single casks, natural cask strength and the absence of chill filtration or colouring to preserve the pure character of the distillate and cask. The Ben Nevis from the Highlands presented here matured for 26 years in a refill hogshead and impressively demonstrates why the distillery at the foot of Scotland's highest mountain has been held in such high esteem since 1825: a medium body with sweet fruitiness, complex tropical flavours and a spicy finish.
