This Irish Blend Tullamore D.E.W. has a pleasantly mild flavour thanks to triple distillation. The initials of Daniel E. Williams, the driving force behind the establishment of the distillery, still adorn the label today, which has been available in a new design since 2024. Three types of grain, triple distillation and maturation in ex-Bourbon and traditional refill casks as well as ex-sherry butts ensure depth, balance and a consistently pleasant character of this Irish blended whiskey.

Die Tullamore Brennerei wurde im Jahr 1829 im gleichnamigen Ort in der Grafschaft Offaly im Zentrum Irlands gegründet. Der Name des Whiskeys setzt sich aus dem Ort Tullamore sowie den Initialen des ehemaligen Distillery Managers Daniel E. Williams zusammen: Tullamore D.E.W.. Zwischenzeitlich musste die Brennerei für ganze 60 Jahre schließen. Bis sie 2014 erneut ihre Tore öffnete, wurde der Tullamore Whiskey in der Midleton Brennerei in der Grafschaft Cork destilliert. lees meer
