Product description
Armorik is produced in Brittany at the Warenghem distillery. In 2019, the distillery was the first whisky distillery in France to be awarded the "Living Heritage Company" label by the French government, which recognises outstanding craftsmanship and industrial expertise. The Armorik Double Matured comes from a combination of Breton oak casks and sherry casks. The Warenghem distillery often uses Breton oak casks to store its whisky. For every Breton oak felled for a cask, Warenghem has two new trees planted.

L190211 1541 - natürliche Farbe = sattes Bernsteingold

7.8.23-14.1.24 - Immer angenehm zu trinken, Frucht (grüne und rote Äpfel) und anfangs Sherryeinflüsse, nachfolgend noch runder werdend. 5.9. rund und schmackhaft 1.10. dito, ein Genuss nach Laga 12yo 14.1. - Sherryeinfluss ist weg, dafür Aprikose, grüne Apfel mit maritimen Noten, süffige Süsse. Frisches Holz. Etwas Schwefel und Säure. Nicht mehr so schmackhaft wie am Anfang. Abgang eher kurz und ohne Besonderheiten.
Im Schnitt 3,5 Sterne - Insgesamt unkomplizierter Sommerwhisky - easy to drink.
