The Armorik Yeun Elez Jobic is a strongly smoky Single Malt Whisky from Brittany and is part of the core range of the Armorik brand. It is named after the legendary Yeun Elez moorland, a wild landscape in the heart of Brittany where peat is traditionally cut. Fittingly, this French whisky has a distinct character and intense smokiness. The epithet "Jobic" refers to a hero of Breton legends and emphasises the powerful, rustic style of this bottling. The cask maturation gives the whisky additional depth and structure, so that the dominant smoke is combined with spicy oak tones and an earthy, slightly mineral note. This Armorik has a particularly strong character thanks to its non-chill-filtered bottling, which preserves natural oils and flavours and creates a fuller mouthfeel. Taste connoisseurs can expect an intense, peaty profile with strong smoke, accompanied by spicy nuances and a rustic, maritime feel reminiscent of its rugged Breton origins. Geschmack: Überraschend mild und Süss. Banane, mit Buttergebäck am Kaminfeuer. Alkohol wunderbar eingebunden.
Abgang: lang anhaltend würzig leicht medizinisch, etwas herb, wobei die Süsse immer noch nachhallt
Kommentar: Fazit: ich bin begeistert. Ein absolutes "must have" -
