Product description
Arran Machrie Moor is dedicated to the beautiful moorland on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, criss-crossed by mighty rock formations and bearing the same name. This uncharacteristically smoky whisky is dedicated to this special piece of land on the Isle of Arran. This Single Malt is fully matured for 10 years in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 46% with no chill filtration or added colouring. A warm, golden coloured whisky with a peat content of 20 ppm.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

    Kommentar: Milder Alkohol, leichte Öligkeit, viel Frucht und sanfter Lagerfeuerrauch bei ausgewogener Süße. Und dann sind da noch verschiedene Kräuter... Lavendel, Heidekeaur ... fast wie in einem Gin. Sehr gelungen.

    Kommentar: Dieser Arran 10 Machrie Moor reiht sich tadellos in meine Arran-Sammlung ein. Der Arran Machrie Moor NAS war schon sehr gut, aber das ist nochmal besser. Besonders ist das der Rauch mit 20ppm äußert angenehm ist und nicht brutal überragt.
