Product description
The Barbancourt Five Star Rhum from Haiti was distilled from 100% pure sugar cane juice and matured for four years in French Limousin oak barrels. The ageing process used by the distillery is very similar to the ageing of cognac, in which the raw alcohol from wine is matured in oak barrels. The distillery was founded in 1862, making it one of the oldest rum distilleries in the world. It is still family-owned today.
