Product description
Master blender Rachel Barrie used four different types of casks for the 21-year-old Benriach. Besides strong bourbon and fresh oak casks, sherry and wine casks were also blended together. The design of the bottle and the tube are based on the original Benriach from the time before its closure in the 90s.

Der braucht etwas Zeit.
Anfangs noch eine merkliche Torfnote,
dann verfliegt diese nahezu, ohne aber ganz zu verschwinden.

Dann die Fassnoten:
Eine Heugabel voll Stroh,
leicht fruchtige Züge im Hintergrund.
Die vier verschiedenen Fässer mag ich nicht auseinanderzuhalten,
aber es scheint in Summe recht gelungen.

46%, passt! Kräftig genug.
Geschmacklich sehr rund, vollmundig.
Der kommt nicht als dünne Suppe daher.
Wirklich schön ausgewogen zwischen Holz-, Frucht- und Torfnoten.
