The 14-year-old Blair Athol is part of the Cask Strength Collection from independent bottler Signatory, in which the whiskies are bottled at natural cask strength. The Highland single malt matured entirely in a rare first fill ruby port hogshead with the number 10 and was bottled at an alcohol strength of 57.9% vol., which makes the single malt from Signatory's home town of Pitlochry particularly recommended for advanced connoisseurs. The iconic and massive decanter and the metal outer packaging emphasise the exclusivity of the bottlings that make it into Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection.
