Variety Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Fruity-sweet with clear sherry influences of sultanas, dark berries and dried plums. In addition, caramel, fine chocolate, some orange zest and a hint of spicy oak.
Taste Soft and round with a clear sherry sweetness, notes of dried fruit, toffee, dark chocolate and ripe red fruit. Accompanied by a light nuttiness, malt and a pleasantly spicy wood note.
Finish Medium length, warm and fruity with residual sweetness of sultanas and caramel, light spice and gentle dry oak.

Product description
The Braeval 10 year old from Murray McDavid's Osprey range shows just how much character a young Speyside Single Malt can develop when it is carefully finished in selected sherry casks. The Osprey range stands for uncomplicated, honest whiskies with a strong price-performance ratio that offer a clear signature and plenty of flavour despite their accessibility. The Braeval Distillery's Single Malt was matured for 10 years and then given a sherry cask finish, which gives it additional depth, sweetness and spicy fruit notes. The result is a lively, modern Speyside whisky with flavours of dark fruit, sultanas, caramel, fine oak and a hint of chocolate, which elegantly combines the fruity distillery characteristics with the sherry cask sweetness and perfectly reflects the typical uncomplicated Osprey style.
