Product description
The Bunnahabhain Manzanilla Cask Feis Ile 2023 takes its name from the casks used for maturation and the Feis Ile Festival, which takes place annually on the Isle of Islay. The bottling, like almost every Bunnahabhain, is created exclusively from lightly peated and malted barley and pure spring water from the Margadale spring. The Single Malt Whisky was first matured in American oak casks and finished in first fill Manzanilla sherry casks. The end result is warming, spicy and maritime.

The Distillery: Bunnahabhain
Bunnahabhain means 'river mouth' translated from Gaelic. The distillery is the northernmost on the island of Islay and is located about three kilometres from Port Askaig. It was built by the Greenless Brothers in 1881.

Aroma: Noten von frisch gebackenem Gebäck mit süßen Mandeln, Rosenblättern, Grapefruit und getrockneten Gewürzen treffen auf einen Hauch von Mahagoni und Weihrauch.
Geschmack: Maritime Anklänge von Seegras und frischer Seeluft treffen auf Rosinen, Datteln und cremigen Fondant. Dazu kommen Noten gewachster roter Äpfel und eine warme, süße Würze, die an Sternanis erinnert.
