WM Cadenhead Ltd, Scotland's oldest independent bottler, is renowned for high quality whiskies with natural flavours, free from chill-filtration and colouring. Decades ago, Cadenhead's Seven Stars was created to prove that carefully blended casks can produce exceptional whisky. In keeping with this tradition, they have revived the Seven Stars name, blending whiskies from across Scotland and finishing them in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a bold and distinctive flavour.

Abgang: Süße, da der Grain deutlich; hinten raus ein bisschen Kaffee, vorher deutlich Trockenfrüchte

Aroma: Reiche und komplexe Frucht- und Nussaromen aus dem Sherry-Fass.
Geschmack: Voll, gut gereift und eindrucksvoll: Sherry, leichte Bitterkeit wie Grapefruit oder saurer Orange, kandierte Früchte und Schokolade.
Abgang: Mittel. Ausgelichene Würze mit Sherry, Obst und einer Mischung aus Vollmilch- und Zartbitterschokolade.
Kommentar: Spannender Blend von Cadenhead`s! Das Finish mit Oloroso-Fässern geben ihm den letzten Kick auf dem Weg zum Geschmacks-Olymp! Preis/Leistung sehr überzeugend! Besser als viel deutlich teurere Blends auf dem Markt (Chivas Regal 18 Jahre, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, z. B.).
