For the Cotswolds Rum Cask Matured is the third edition of the Hearts & Crafts series composed by Master Distiller Nickolas Fanchino and his team. The English Single Malt is based on local, floor-malted barley distilled in two copper Pot Stills. The whisky is matured exclusively in former red wine casks, which were previously covered with Caribbean rum. The finished creation is then bottled at cask strength, neither coloured nor chill-filtered.

The Distillery: Cotswolds
The English Cotswolds distillery was founded in 2014. The name comes from the region in which the distillery is located, also known as 'The Heart of England'. In setting up the distillery, the team was supported by none other than Dr Jim Swan, the 'Einstein of Whisky', as well as Harry Cockburn, the former manager of the Bowmore distillery.
