Product description
The Dailuaine spent its entire maturation period of 21 years in former sherry casks from Spain before being released at 54.3% vol. at cask strength with the elegant red label. This collector's item is a fine and full-bodied Speyside Single Malt, which presents its sherry cask influence even more balanced with a few drops of water than in its intense pure form. Since 2001, the spirits group has bottled an annual collection of limited edition Single Malt Whiskies from its extensive distillery portfolio. The series includes Scotch whiskies that are rarely available on the market and have been matured experimentally or are considered to be of particularly high quality overall. Whisky fans and collectors are therefore equally addressed. The whiskies are released once a year at cask strength and are characterised by exceptional maturation and, in some cases, old vintages, with bottlings without an age statement also appearing. For some years now, each edition has had an overarching theme, which is reflected in the artistically designed labels and packaging. Previous themes have included "Legends Untold", "Elusive Expressions", "Spirited Xchange" and "The Enigma of the Casks". The special releases offer connoisseurs the opportunity to discover unique flavour profiles and one-off cask ageings. The motto of the 2025 collection is Horizons Unbound.
