Product description
Dalmore King Alexander III honours the Scottish king of the same name. During a hunt in 1263, a member of the Mackenzie family saved the nobleman's life. In gratitude, Alexander III allowed them to bear the royal stag on their coat of arms. Since then, the distillery's bottlings have also featured the stag's head.
The special Single Malt was created from six different types of casks.

Dalmore is a high-quality Highland distillery with a good Whisky and an elegant bottle design. The distillery was long run by the noble Scottish Mackenzie clan. A member of the clan once saved King Alexander III's life while stag hunting by stabbing a deer attacking him at the last second. The king was so grateful that he allowed the Mackenzie clan to bear the royal twelve-tailed stag on their coat of arms. This symbol is still displayed on Dalmore bottles today. Kommentar: Wahnsinnig toller Whisky...Aber wie so oft, die Frage ist der Preis gerechtfertigt? Bei inzwischen 240 Euro die Flasche, kann ich nur ein klares Nein abgeben. Irgendwann kommt der Punkt, da ist der Klassenunterschied zu Flaschen für den halben Preis es einfach nicht mehr wert.
