Deanston Bordeaux Red Wine Cask was produced according to traditional methods. The 10-year-old Single Malt was matured in Bordeaux red wine casks, which is clearly evident in the aroma. The Deanston distillery was built in the premises of an old cotton factory. Everywhere in the premises, the flair of the 19th century prevails.

Abgang: Sweet Grape Oak

Kommentar: Vor allem im Aroma und auf der Zunge ist der Weincharakter stark ausgeprägt. Dazu Süße, andere Früchte und etwas Würze. Im Abgang dann ein wenig Eiche dazu. Insgesamt relativ leichter Whisky trotz 46,3%. Gleichzeitig aber spannend mit der Bordeaux-Nachreifung.
