Don Julio Reposado Tequila matured for eight months in American white oak barrels, giving it a golden amber colour and a mild, elegant Taste. Don Julio Reposado Tequila is best enjoyed as part of a refreshing cocktail or chilled on ice. The cultivation and harvesting of the agaves for Don Julio Tequila takes place in the 'Highlands' of Jalisco in Mexico, which offer the perfect microclimate and rich volcanic soil. It is also the birthplace of La Primavera distillery, founded by Don Julio Gonzalez in 1942, and thus the beginning of Don Julio Tequila.

La Primavera distillery was founded in 1942 by Don Julio González in the heart of the Mexican highlands of Jalisco. To this day, the high-quality Don Julio Tequila is produced there – from the careful cultivation of the agaves to the final distillation. The cultivation, harvesting and processing of the blue Weber agave takes place directly on site.
