Flor de Caña Coco is a coconut liqueur, transparent in colour and based on rum aged for at least four years in oak barrels. With its pleasantly light and fresh Taste, Flor de Caña Coco can be enjoyed pure, on the rocks or in tropical cocktails. Flor de Caña rum comes from Nicaragua and is the only rum brand in the world that can call itself 'slow aged'. With this certification, the US government agency ensures that it is a natural and not accelerated maturation process in oak barrels. The rum is produced directly at the San Antonio sugar factory at the foot of an active volcano, which belongs to the 'Compañía Licorera de Nicaragua' founded in 1890.

The Italian Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa founded the Flor de Caña Rum distillery in 1890 at the foot of the San Cristobál volcano in Nicaragua. The distillery is still family-owned and is now run by the fifth generation.
