Product description
The Glen Scotia First Fill Ruby Port Cask was matured for 9.5 years in first fill bourbon casks and received a 6 month finish in first fill Ruby Port hogsheads. For harmonisation, the Single Malt was left to rest for a month in refill bourbon casks. The bouquet and Taste are influenced by this cask finish and offer fruity, floral facets. A subtle and balanced chocolate note in the finish rounds off this Single Malt. The 10-year-old was neither chill-filtered nor coloured and bottled at 46% exclusively for Whisky.de. Glen Scotia is one of three still active distilleries in Campbeltown. The elegant bottle comes in a slim tube. Exclusively for CLUB members! This item is reserved for our club customers. If there is sufficient stock, it will still go on sale to the general public.

Kommentar: Ich musste mich an ihn gewöhnen, konnte ihn zunächst nicht richtig einordnen, doch er wurde immer besser. Man merkt ihm die 46% nicht an, mit etwas Wasser verdünnt gewinnt er hinzu und wird immer vollmundiger, sehr mild, erinnert an weiße Schokolade, Birne, Amarena, hat einen langen Abgang. Sehr gut!Pear
