Product description
The Glencadam distillery is located just half a mile from the centre of the Scottish town of Brechin. It opened its doors in 1825, shortly after distilling was legalised. Today, whisky is still produced there as it was in 1825. Master Distiller Robert Fleming chose sherry and bourbon casks from the distillery's traditional 'Dunnage' warehouse, which he then matured in the selected sherry butts from Andalusia.

    Abgang: langer, weicher und süßlicher Abgang

    Kommentar: Ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist nicht der "überkomplexe" Whisky aber sehr gut wenn man einen eher süßlichen Whisky mag.

    Aroma: Reife dunkle Früchte, süß, schwere Vanille, Feigen Kompott, Crème Brûlée, Früchte werden heller richtung Apfelkeller und Pfirsich.

    Geschmack: Verschiedene rote Früchte, cremig/öliges Mundgefühl, Honig, Fruchtnote ist sehr komplex bis hin zu Quitte, wird immer trockener und würziger.

    Abgang: Sehr komplex (müsste jetzt gut 15-20 verschiedene Früchte aufzählen), lang

    Kommentar: Dachte nicht das ein NAS so komplex sein könnte.
