Aroma: Lemon peel with caramel, apple and some coconut.
Taste: Intense and rich with sherry, fresh citrus notes and vanilla.
Finish: Medium length with subtle sherry and oak notes.
Maturation: Bourbon and sherry casks
Glengoyne Legacy Chapter Three
Aroma: Intense sherry notes accompanied by cinnamon sticks and vanilla. A mixture of berry jam, apple strudel and pears.
Taste: Rich and creamy after sultanas in liqueur and spiced bread.
Finish: Creamy after sherry and apple-caramel cake.
Maturation: American oak sherry casks
Glengoyne 18 year old
Aroma: Well balanced, red apples, ripe melon and fresh bananas.
Taste: Round and strong with marzipan and walnuts. Warming spices, cocoa and orange marmalade.
Finish: Long, warm and dry. Maturation: Bourbon and sherry cask

This Glengoyne range is an excellent way to get to know the different flavours of the distillery's three classics. The Highlands distillery has always been committed to the motto 'Umhurried since 1833' and makes a point of taking its time in the production of its whiskies. Thus, the bottlings represent small time capsules in the course of time, which are meant to capture the moment.
