The Glenturret Triple Wood 2025 matured in American and European casks that were pre-filled with sherry and also in Bourbon barrels. This combination of casks gave the Single Malt Whisky a smooth flavour profile with fruity facets. The core range and the design of the Glenturret bottlings were already revised in 2020. The fine decanters were designed and produced by the part-owner of the Highland distillery, the French luxury goods company Lalique. The history of the oldest working distillery in Scotland is characterised by craftsmanship and a commitment to traditional whisky production. Wooden washbacks, a historic malt mill and just two copper stills are used to produce the first-class Single Malts. Ideal for purists of unadulterated Single Malts and connoisseurs who value balanced flavours.

Kommentar: typischer Glenturret Charakter, leckerer Whisky zu gutem Preis. Nicht so sehr vom Sherry überladen. Gefällt mir gut. -

Geschmack: Sanft und wärmend mit Ingewerkuchen, Früchten und Eichengewürzen.

Massive Eichen- und Sherryaromen mit Noten von frischen Früchten und leichten Gewürzen

Intensives und vollen Mundgefühl mit dunkleren Fruchtnoten als noch in der Nase. Sehr würzig und herber werdend

Mittellanger Abgang mit kräftigen Fass- und Gewürznoten
Kommentar: Interessanter Whisky für Leute mit einer Liebe zu intensiven Fassnoten. Wie der Name erahnen lässt, dominieren Diese und man kaut fast schon auf dem Holz. Dadurch wirkt er aber auch unausgeglichener als z.B. der 12 Jährige
