Die Cognac-Brennerei Maison Hennessy wurde 1765 von Richard Hennessy gegründet und ist heute eines der bekanntesten Häuser für Cognac. 1806 wurde Jean Fillioux als erster Hennessy Master Blender ernannt, und seitdem betreut die Familie Fillioux in der 8. Generation den Alterungs- und Blending-Prozess.
