Product description
The Hills & Harbour Gin is produced at the Crafty Distillery on the west coast of Scotland. The small distillery is located in the Galloway Hills on the River Cree, hence its name. Bonaticals include regionally harvested pine needles and seaweed, as well as mango, orange peel, Szechuan pepper, bay leaves and, of course, juniper. The basic alcohol for the Hills & Harbour Gin is distilled in the craft distillery from wheat and water.

The craft distillery was built by Graham Taylor together with his late father William.

Aroma: Wacholderbeeren, ausbalanciert durch Tannennadeln, tropische Früchte, Gewürze, Zitrusnoten sowie herbes Sorbet und subtil maritimen Noten.
Geschmack:
Abgang:
Kommentar: Wunderbar spritzig-frisches Zitrus-Aroma unterstützt durch den Geruch von Nadelwald. Ganz milder Antritt, gut abgestimmte Käuterkomposition, der Wacholder ist präsent hält sich aber angenehm zurück. Dazu ein leichter Anklang von Limette und anderen Zitrusfrüchten. Im Abgang dann eine herbe und kräftige Note, die aber gut passt. Als Ausklang verbleibt eine Zitrusnote im Rachenraum.
