Variety Single Grain Whisky
Aroma Hints of baked coconut, beeswax and nuances of furniture polish.
Taste Creamy-sweet butterscotch, shortbread and a hint of vanilla pods with nutty accents that meet sherry notes. Dried fruit and flavours reminiscent of pencil shavings are then revealed.
Finish Again creamy with a hint of pine, facets of sweet sherry take over.

The Invergordon matured for over 19 years in American oak casks and an Amontillado sherry cask before the Single Malt Whisky was bottled for the Cooper's Choice series by independent bottler The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd. In this series, the Glasgow-based company presents single cask bottlings and whiskies that have been refined in exceptional casks. The single Grain was bottled at 49.5% vol. Cask strength without chill-filtering and without artificial colouring and is available in limited quantities.

Invergordon is a fairly new distillery, having only been founded in 1960, with the intention of being a large-scale grain Whisky production. Invergordon Distillers Ltd established the distillery, and it began with only one tall column still. In 1963, two more column stills were added, and in 1978, a final, much larger one was added. read more

Aroma: Anklänge von gebackener Kokosnuss, dazu Bienenwachs und Nuancen von Möbelpolitur.

Geschmack: Cremig-süßes Buttertoffee, Mürbegebäck und ein Hauch von Vanilleschoten mit nussigen Akzenten, die auf Sherrynoten treffen. Dann offenbaren sich getrocknete Früchte und Aromen, die an Bleistiftspäne erinnern.

Abgang: Erneut cremig mit mit einem Hauch von Kiefer, Facetten von süßem Sherry übernehmen.
