The special feature of this Jack Daniel's Single Malt is the finish in Oloroso Sherry Casks, which is rather rare for American whiskey.

Geschmack: Weich, süßlich und andersartig (als das was man von Jack Daniel's gewohnt ist): Fruchtiger Sherry mit dunkler Schokolade (fast schon Mokka!) mit Marzipan, Zimt, Zucker, Brombeeren und leichtes Karamell.
Abgang: Maximal Mittel: Zum Ende hin eine dunkle Schokotarte mit Karamell, Pudding, Zimt und Zucker.
Kommentar: Die Eigeninterpretation von Single Malt durch die Amerikaner ist traditionell ganz weit von den Schotten, Japanern, Iren, usw. entfernt! Jack Daniel's geht hier einen mutigen Schritt nach vorne als Big Player im großen globalen Whiskymarkt. Geschmacklich gut, im Preis ein wenig zu teuer geraten!
