This Kilkerran Single Malt is the 11th batch with the Heavily Peated stamp. The heavily peated whisky matured 90% in ex-Bourbon barrels and 10% in ex-sherry casks and was bottled at cask strength with 57.9% vol, neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Glengyle is the third distillery beside Springbank and Glen Scoia that is still active in Campbeltown. "Active again" it should read, since Glengyle has been revived 2004 and is now producing the Kilkerran Single Malt Whisky.

Kommentar: Ein absoluter Hammer!! Vielschichtig, komplex, herb-süß, würzig, rauchig, alles drin! Elegant-geschmeidig und werkstatt-kantig zugleich, sehr langer Abgang. Der Alkohol ist top-eingebunden. Tolles Zeug, bester bezahlbarer Campbeltown-Whisky.
