Product description
The new flagship Kingsbarns Doocot, was named after the distillery's distinctive crenellated dovecote. Distillery manager Peter Holroyd uses two yeasts to lay the foundations for this creation, which is matured for at least 7 years in former bourbon casks and STR barriques. A Distillers Yeast and a Brewers Yeast are used, which ensure sufficient output and produce lush aromas during fermentation. The first-class barrels are personally selected by Production Director Isabella Wemyss.

Geschmack: Fruchtig, leicht scharf, Mirabellen

Abgang: Säuerlich und trocken den Mundraum auskleidend. Zuletzt leicht (und angenehm) bitter

Kommentar: Leicht unausgewogener Lowlander, der mit zarten floralen aber zumindest seiner Herkunft gerecht wird. Er wirkt trotz seiner 46% leicht wässerig
