Jim Beam gehört zu den größten Whiskey-Produzenten auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent. In Kentucky betreiben Sie mehrere Brennereien. Unter dem Namen Jim Beam arbeiten zwei Destillerien, eine in Boston und eine zweite in Clermont (östlich von Bardstown). Die Jim Beam Brennereien sind für normale Reisende nicht zu besichtigen. Stattdessen gibt es das externe Besucherzentrum 'American Outpost', das einem authentisch und multimedial die Geschichte Jim Beams näher bringt. Hier steht auch ein Haus der Beams, in dem Geschäftsgäste empfangen werden. Das Wohnhaus der Beams steht dagegen mitten in Bardstown, dem Zentrum der Bourbon Produktion. read more

    Kommentar: Riecht weniger süß als andere Bourbon, die ich besitze. Anfangs leicht süß und teilweise fruchtig bis zitrisch und im Abgang zunehmend trocken und man schmeckt zunehmend die Aromen vom Fass. Abgang durchaus lang.
