Product description
The Lochlea distillery comes from the Lowlands and created the Orchard & Oak as a fruit-fuelled Single Malt, which matured in Bourbon, Virgin American Oak and Calvados casks. It is part of Lochlea's standard range, which has now been expanded to include three further bottlings. These are based on the independent farm distillery's seasonal releases and are made from 100% of the company's own barley, which is sown, tended and harvested on the Lochlea site. The special combination of casks has given the Single Malt apple notes that blend with buttery caramel and sweet oak flavours. Bottled at 46% vol. without chill-filtering and in natural colour.

The Lochlea distillery in the Scottish Lowlands has been producing Single Malt Whisky since 2018. The team grows their own grain for the Lochlea products on the approximately 90 hectares. They are particularly proud of the estate's history, which the Scottish national poet Robert Burns called home from 1777 to 1784 and also lent a hand on the farm.
