Louis Santo Cognac Finish Rum - Batch 17/01 is an exclusive premium bottling from the German brand Kesselherz, which stands for transparency, craftsmanship and limited editions. This rarity from the Dominican Republic was distilled using both the Pot Still and Column Still methods. What makes it special is that it is made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice and not molasses - a method that is only used in a few rums worldwide - which gives it a mild but complex flavour profile. After eight years of tropical maturation, it was given a special finish in selected cognac barrels, which lends elegance, fine fruity notes and subtle spicy nuances. With a strictly limited edition of 2,000 bottles, this single cask bottling combines Caribbean distilling craftsmanship with German selection expertise and reflects the philosophy of Kesselherz: authentic spirits with heart and character.
