Aroma: Trockenfrüchte und Ingwer mit einem Hauch Vanille und Zimt.
Geschmack: Weich mit Anklängen von Gewürzen, Nelken, Orangen und getoasteter Eiche.
Abgang: Anhaltend nach Trockenfrüchten, Ingwer und Orangenschalen.

So wie man das vom Sherry Oak erwartet.
Altes Holz, reifer Sherry, rote Beeren und Konfitüre.
Alles sehr satt, voluminös.
Geschmacklich setzt sich das fort,
wenngleich er etwas leicht daherkommt.
Die Holznoten nun etwas im Vordergrund,
aber auch eine unterschwellige Süße.
Mit langem, runden Abgang.
Toll!
Macallan kann es immer noch. Auch über die Jahre spüre ich kein Nachlassen. Der 18 Jahre Sherry Oak bleibt für mich das Flaggschiff…
