This Mannochmore was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Andrew Symington founded his company at the end of the 80s and has always maintained good contact with the distilleries. Today, he can call a warehouse of over 10,000 casks his own.
This bottling was bottled exclusively for Whisky.de at 46% strength.

Scottish Malt Distillers founded Mannochmore distillery in 1971. The site was managed by John Haig & Company Limited until 1985, at which point it was mothballed due to the big british recession.

Kommentar: Die Fruchtigkeit in der Nase und im Mund erinnert an Fruchtgelee oder selbst gemachten Fruchtsaft, vielleicht Apfel aber nicht ausschließlich. Im Abgang zeigt sich die Eiche. Guter Whisky aber sticht nicht heraus.
