Product description
Martell VSOP is an authentic expression of the Martell style, which has been recognised as consistent, traditional and unmistakable since the mid-1700s. The house of founder Jean Martell matures its eaux-de-vies exclusively in barrels made of fine-grained oak. This speciality promotes the development of exceptional aromas, such as the rich, fruity notes of Martell VSOP. This VSOP is a blend of eaux-de-vie whose youngest parts have been matured for at least four years. The cognac offers a perfect balance between deliciously fine fruit notes and subtle wood flavours.

The Distillery:
The Martell Cognac house was founded in 1715 by Jean Martell in the region of the same name and is considered the oldest of the great French Cognac houses. One of its most famous creations is Martell Cordon Bleu, which was first launched in 1912. This iconic blend was served on ships such as the Queen Mary and the Orient Express, and on aeroplanes such as the Concorde. Martell has been part of the Pernod Ricard Group since 2001, combining its more than 300 years of tradition with the strength of an international spirits group.
