    Abgang: Maritime Notes insgesamt recht kurzer Abgang

    Kommentar: immer noch ein unterschätzter Tropfen. Wer etwas Rauch und maritime Geschmäcker mag aber Islay Vertreter oft zu intensiv findet, wird hier sicher nicht enttäuscht. Leicht zu genießen.

    Abgang: Spices Maritime Notes Salt Oak

    Kommentar: In der Nase zunächst tropisch fruchtig, dann ganz leichter Rauch und eine Meeresbrise im Hintergrund. Auf der Zunge dann sehr würzig, dazu Meersalz. Im Abgang dann weiterhin würzig und maritim, dazu etwas Eiche.
    So außergewöhnlich wie die Lage der Brennerei, ist auch der Whisky. Aus meiner Sicht ein einzigartiger und betont maritim beeinflusster Whisky.
