Product description
Parkmore is a Dufftown distillery that has been closed for almost 100 years and, like the independent bottler Murray McDavid, belongs to the family business Aceo Spirits. The Parkmore Selection Barolo Finish was initially matured in bourbon casks and then refined in Barolo red wine barriques from Piedmont. After 8 years, the Single Malt was bottled in natural colour and without chill filtering.

Kommentar: Kommt daher wie ein Wein mit Whisky Finish. Spannend und vielschichtig, leider alles in allem keine Runde Sache. Die einzelnen Aromen sind sehr stark, stehen aber mehr in Konkurrenz zueinander, als dass sie aufeinander abgestimmt wären. Im Abgang etwas spritig.

Schon in der Nase ist der Barolo präsent.

Geschmack:
Herrlich, der wunderbare Barolo-Geschmack, der klar den Whisky prägt. Getragen vom Alkohol kommt da ein wunderbarer Whisky mit einem super PLV!
Sweet Sherry Date Der Rauch ist sehr dezent!

Mittellang
