Aroma Intense and fresh with hints of honey, apples and cooked bananas, plus accents of lime, vanilla and coconut. Toffee and almond notes follow.
Taste Pastry with fresh facets of nutmeg, pralines and oak.
Finish Long and sweet with renewed notes of banana, green apples, tonka beans and caramel with a hint of cinnamon.
Maturation Ex-Bourbon and finish in toasted Ferrand casks

Product description
The Plantation Black Cask Barbados - Cuba is a Blend from Rums, which originate from Barbados and Cuba. The basis for the rums is molasses, which was distilled on Column and Pot Stills. The rums then matured for several years in former 200-litre bourbon barrels in their countries of origin. The blending is followed by a transfer to France where the creation is matured in small, toasted Ferrand barrels for a further year.
