Remedy was created during Prohibition in the United States of America. During this time, rum was sold in pharmacies under medical pretences. The Remedy Spiced Rum spirit is based on rums from the Caribbean countries of Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic. Spices such as vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon are added to the blend.
