Product description
The Rhum J.M La Dame Jeanne N.4 Très Vieux Agricole is one of the oldest Rhum Agricole productions on the island of Martinique, which belongs to the Lesser Antilles. The distillery is located at the foot of the Mont-Pelée volcano. The prevailing rugged landscape and lush vegetation provide ideal conditions for the cultivation of high-quality sugar cane. This bottling is a combination of at least 7 rums that have been matured for up to 24 years in ex-bourbon barrels and partly in charred, fresh American oak barrels in the tropical climate of Martinique. The design of the bottle is reminiscent of the pear-shaped glass containers called "Dame Jeanne", which were used to store and transport rum, from which the bottling takes its name. The Rhum Agricole was bottled at 47.6% vol. at cask strength.
