	Aroma	Sun-ripened grapes, velvety apricots and juicy pears come together and are accompanied by delicate vanilla, fine oak spice and a hint of melting toffee.
	Taste	Silky and balanced with fruity sweetness of light-coloured grapes, apricots flash through and merge into ripe pears. This is followed by gentle oak warmth, fine toffee accents and a pleasantly subtle dryness of light-coloured grape skins.
	Finish	Warming and long with creamy fruit notes and gentle wine flavours as well as spicy, dry oak. Fine tannins and a hint of light-coloured grape skins round off the finish.
	Maturation	Ex- Bacchus/Scheurebe white wine, ex-white wine late harvest and ex-Chardonnay white wine barrels

Product description

This Single Malt Whisky is the result of a collaboration between the Lower Franconian St. Kilian Distillers and the legendary German rock band Scorpions. The bottling combines elements of German music history with handcrafted cask maturation in former wine barrels from German wine-growing regions. This whisky is made from 100% malted barley. The double distillation takes place in traditional Scottish Pot Still stills. The unpeated whisky is then matured completely in various types of cask, which were previously filled with Bacchus or Scheurebe white wine, late harvest white wine and Chardonnay wine. Thanks to this versatile cask maturation, the whisky develops a mild yet complex flavour profile with distinct grape notes, which combine harmoniously with toffee accents and oak spice at 47% vol. This whisky will "rock you like a hurricane"!
