Product description
The Secret Speyside (M) whisky is part of the Vintage Small Batch series from the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The series was created together with a German importer. The whisky from an unnamed but very well-known Speyside distillery with the initial letter M. The whisky matured for 12 years in Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled neither coloured nor chill-filtered in 2024.

    Aroma: Kirschen und Orangenmarmelade, Datteln, Honig und Karamell.
    Geschmack: Vollmundig und kraftvoll auf der Zunge. Noten von Brombeeren und eingekochte Früchte, dunkler Schokolade, Backgewürze, Muskat und Zimt, Karamell und etwas Ingwer.

    Abgang: Mittellang mit getrockneten Feigen, Eichenholz und Rosinen.

    Abgang: Sherry Oak Dark Chocolate

    Kommentar: Pur finde ich ihn etwas "unrund", der Alkohol kommt zu sehr durch und das Aroma versteckt sich. Wie in den Kommentaren zu lesen öffnet sich dieser mit Wasser und wird richtig richtig gut (hatte bei 4 cl einen halben Teelöffel). Echt toll und gelungen! Ob es Macallan ist? Möglich.
