The Supernova single malt was sighted after 9 years in a first fill port cask on Speyside in Scotland. This whisky also comes from an unknown whisky galaxy. Scotch Universe GmbH is a small, young, internationally active company based in Germany. The independent bottler of the Whisky Druid has set itself the task of tracking down and hand-selecting special single malts and grain whiskies. Scotch Universe, The Whisky Druid and The Old Friends were made famous by Michel Reick, a true great in the whisky industry. The bottling is named after the supernova, a spectacle of light, with a star briefly shining brightly.

Kommentar: schöne Süße mit Frucht und Rauch, aber nicht zu intensiv. Verträgt ein bisschen Wasser, aber nicht zu viel. Im Abgang kommt dann auch schon etwas Eiche hinzu
