Aroma Freshly baked fruitcake and vanilla bean, followed by banana, caramelised orange and fresh ginger.
Taste Warming with exotic notes, glazed nectarines and vanilla cream. Hints of caramel custard, demerara sugar and oranges.
Finish Medium length, complex and rich with fruitcake and ripe apricots.

Product description
Tamnavulin was built in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin in Scotland's Speyside. Almost three decades later, it was closed again. After an extensive renovation, the reopening was celebrated in 2007. The new Sherry Cask Edition was first matured in former bourbon casks before being matured in three different Types of sherry casks.

Tamnavulin is one of the younger Scottish distilleries and only built in 1966. It was founded to produce a great quantity of Whisky for Blends and this is still its main job. There are only a few Single Malts released as official bottlings from Tamnavulin, the “mill on the hill”, but the Speyside distillery on the banks of the river Livet is worth to have a closer look on it. read more
