The Demon's Share Old Rodrigo's Reserve Rum Spirit 9 Years

The sugar cane for the molasses of The Demon's Share rum spirit is harvested from the nutrient-rich volcanic soil in the centre of Panama and distilled in traditional column stills. It is then matured in toasted American white oak barrels for 6 years and is given the finishing touches with the addition of orange zest, vanilla pods and sugar. The name for Marco Savio's creation is derived from the 'Angel's Share' (which refers to the proportion of whisky that evaporates from the cask during storage), which is widely used in the whisky industry and which the founder quickly renamed 'Demons Share'. The Old Rodrigo's Reserve is bottled at 40% after 9 years of maturation in American oak casks and surprises with its pleasantly sweet and fruity flavours of chocolate, grapefruit and cinnamon.
