The Fiddichside - Mission Gold 35 Years 1989/2024

The Fiddichside is a Blended Malt from the cask stocks of the independent bottler Murray McDavid. The Fiddichside is a well-known whisky bar in Speyside, which was run by Joe Brandie. Murray McDavid bottles particularly old, rare and exceptional Single Malts, Grains and Blends in the Mission Gold series. This Blended Malt whisky has been matured for 35 long years and finished in three different casks, which were previously filled with Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry and Pauillac wine. The Fiddichside was bottled at 46.7% without chill-filtering and without the addition of colour. As usual, the design of the heavy bottle features a thicker glass base and a high-quality wooden grip cork to emphasise the exclusivity of the high-quality whisky. The elegant packaging and the label of this bottling are coloured in shades of gold to match the name of the Mission Gold series.
