The Sentinel Scented Rum comes from The Illusionist Distillery in Hohenbrunn, where the famous Gin is also produced. The young sugar cane distillate from Paraguay is matured in flamed oak barrels and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, while played recordings create sound waves that are supposed to make the liquid mature faster. This is known as 'acoustic aging', a very modern way of aiding the maturation process. Each bottle of Sentinel comes with a Cocktail Scent, which is sprayed over the filled glass with the small spray vial, giving the drink additional inviting cocktail aromas.
