dezente angenehme Sherry Note, getrocknete Früchte, Pflaumen. Im Hintergrund leicht würzig. Orangeschale kommt kombiniert mit leichten Eiche Noten. Alles in allem aber eher verhalten.
Geschmack:
Am Gaumen eher würzig, Eiche, leicht getrocknete Früchte, später mehr Zitrusfrüchte. Bitter werdend zum Ende hin
Abgang:
Ganz deutlich kommen hier die Zitrusfrüchte. Recht würzig, Eiche, etwas malzig, bitter.
Kommentar:
der aktuelle Preis ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt für das gebotene. Nase ist viel zu verschlossen und am Gaumen und Abgang ist er nicht sonderlich komplex. Den Preis außer Acht gelassen ist es ein schöner Malt. Jedoch würde ich ihn bei einer Blindverkostung bei weitem nicht auf das Alter schätzen. Es macht den Eindruck dass hier ausgelutschte Fässer verwendet wurden zur Reifung
