As the name suggests, West Cork Distillers is located in the west of County Cork in Ireland. The independent craft distillery was founded in 2003 by three childhood friends: John O'Connell and cousins Ger and Denis McCarthy. What began as a small experiment in a back room developed into one of the largest Irish-owned distilleries in the country. Today, the distillery employs more than 140 people, many of them from the region, and produces Irish Whiskey, Gin and Vodka for a global audience. read more

Eine echte Überraschung.Der erste Eindruck war eher mäßig,er braucht etwas Zeit.Dann allerdings,macht er auf und der Calvados wird präsent. Für den Preis,schlecht zu toppen.
