The West Cork Distillery is located, as the name suggests, in the west of Cork in Ireland. In 2003, the distillery was established by three childhood friends without the prospect of much success. Kommentar: Nicht sehr komplex, aber eine ausgesprochen schöne Apfelnote, das Calvados Finish hat sehr gut gegriffen. Für den Preis gibt es von mir eine Empfehlung für "Whisky für zwischendurch", wobei dieser sogar einen exotischen Charakter hat, dieses Finish findet man nicht allzu oft.
