Wild Island Botanic Gin comes from the idyllic Isle of Colonsay, which lies remotely to the west of the Isle of Jura. Only 130 people live on the small island, where there is not much apart from a hotel, a small pub and a bookshop. Nevertheless, the Langley Distillery produces the so-called High Croft Wild Island Gin. It is named after the farm where the autumnal botanicals it contains are grown: Wild blackberries, red currants, elderberries, rowanberries, apples and rose hips.
