Yellow Rose Rye is produced at the first legal whiskey distillery in Houston, Texas. The distillery is named after the lady who, according to legend, helped Sam Houston fight for Texas' independence from Mexico and was known as the 'Yellow Rose of Texas'. The whiskey is modelled on the rye as it existed in the USA before Prohibition. It is made from a mash with 95% rye and assembled in small batches from only a few barrels.

Geschmack: Süß, tolle Würze (95% Roggen, Eiche), Gewürze, Fruchtig, süffig
Abgang: Würze bis zum Schluss, leicht floral, Trockenobst, Eiche und Gewürze, Kastanienhonig, eine Spur Muskat (?)
Kommentar: Toller Rye-Whiskey. Sein hoher Roggenanteil macht ihn sehr spannend und schwer vergleichbar mit anderen Rye-Whiskey mit weniger Roggenanteil.
Geschmack: Süß, tolle Würze (95% Roggen, Eiche), Gewürze, Fruchtig, süffig
Abgang: Würze bis zum Schluss, leicht floral, Trockenobst, Eiche und Gewürze, Kastanienhonig, eine Spur Muskat (?)
Kommentar: Toller Rye-Whiskey. Sein hoher Roggenanteil macht ihn sehr spannend und schwer vergleichbar mit anderen Rye-Whiskey mit weniger Roggenanteil.
Geschmack: Eiche und Roggen im Einklang, Roggenwürze übernimmt schnell die Führung teils mit pfeffriger Schärfe, im hintergrund stets eine schöne Vanille.
Abgang: Würziger Roggen, mit schöner Eiche im Hintergrund, mittelang.
