1776 is the oldest whisky brand in America. Elijah Pepper founded the company in this year. The whiskey was still produced by the family for three generations. The Georgetown Trading Co. has since taken over the brand. Over 38% rye was used in the mash of this bourbon.
The flavourless and alcohol-free Fee Foam ensures a beautiful head on cocktails. Just add two dashes before shaking to create a visually appealing foam that does not alter the flavour or aroma of the drink. Fee Foam is the plant-based alternative without eggs for creating foam on cocktails.
Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, polysorbate 80 kosher, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid, natural lemon extract.

Aroma: Würzige Eiche umhüllt von süßlicher Vanille und Karamell. .

Geschmack: Süße Vanille, würzig und Eiche und ein leichtes prickeln auf der Zunge. Kräftig und ölig

Abgang: Länger als erwartet mit Eichennoten, aber immernoch süß. So stelle ich mir einen Whiskey in einem Saloon vor. Ein guter Whiskey, gerade im Sommer sehr passend und eine nette Abwechslung zu den Schotten.

Kommentar: Diesen Whisky hatte ich zum ersten mal bei einem Tasting mit dem legendären Mr. Bourbon genossen. Er hat mir so gut geschmeckt, dass ich Ihn gleich mitnehmen wollte aber nicht genügend Geld und keine Karte dabei hatte. Er schrieb mir seine Bankdaten auf einen Bierdeckel und gab mir die Flasche mit. Wortwörtlich: Whiskytrinker sind keine schlechten Menschen und man vertraut sich untereinander.
